What We Do

Small Groups
Small Groups for the Fall Season are starting up in Mid-September. It will be a season of exploring different topics, interests, and spaces. Email Pastor Jeanelle if you are interested.

Our Small Groups are a dynamic part of our ministry, adapting to the ever-changing needs and interests of our communities.

Henri Nouwen's "Life of the Beloved" - Mondays, Sept. 27 - Nov. 22, 7PM-8PM on Zoom

We will have a 9-week small group with the widely popular Henri Nouwen's "Life of the Beloved". Nouwen was a renowned contemplative, leaning into the intersections of psychology, social justice, community, spirituality, and the unknown. Copies can be found in local libraries and bookstores, Bookshop, and Thiftbooks. The book won't be needed for the first meeting on Sept. 27th.

To sign up, email Jorim.

Virtual Creative Making Space - Every other Thursday starting Sept. 30, 7PM-8PM on Zoom

Think of this space as a choose-your-own-adventure kind of small group. This is for anyone who wants to pursue their own creative endeavors in a group setting. Open to all sorts of creating - be it poetry or music or crochet or cupcaking, etc. Every other Thursday, beginning Sept. 30 (9/30, 10/14, 10/28, 11/11).

This space is for those who are interested in deconstructing and decolonizing faith and theologies that have been used to cause or justify harm or oppression, or to uphold the status quo. If you are in search of a space to reclaim faith and theology in a way that liberates, empowers, and heals, this communal space is for you. This Small Group will run every 2nd & 4th Wednesday evenings from Sept. 22nd to Nov. 24th.
