Pine UMC welcome all couples, regardless of your spiritual backgrounds, desiring to be married in a Christian context. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance of the proposed date. Church members and their families have priorty in scheduling the use of the facilities, but we are usually able to allow wedding parties their first or second preferences for a wedding date.

We have a beautiful sanctuary which holds a maximum of 200 people in padded pews. The ceiling of the sanctuary rises dramatically to a height of about three stories. At the front of the sanctuary sits the large stained glass window.

Downstairs from the Sanctuary, is courtyard area and a large a Social Hall with full kitchen facilities for a reception. The Social Hall has a seating capacity of about 100 guests seated at tables or 250 for a buffet reception. Upstairs, the Shiota Hall accomodates 50-70 guests for an informal standing reception. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises and smoking is prohibited inside the buildings.

The passenger (white) parking zone in front of the building may be reserved for the wedding party. The parking lot behind the church holds about twelve cars. Additional parking is available around the neighbourhood.

Located in the Richmond District of San Francisco, Pine UMC is five minutes from the Palace of the Legion of Honor, about ten minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park.

Fees: Church Santuary - $500 for 4 hours ($100/hr extra hours), Social Hall + Kitchen - $400 for 4 hours ($100/hr extra hours), Kitchen only - $100 for 4 hours, Shiota Hall - $100, Custodian - TBD (required for weddings), Coordinator - TBD, Accompanist - $150, Minister - start at $300. A deposit of $150 is required at the time the wedding date is confirmed. The remainder may be paid one week prior to the wedding.
